Nano-coating for Flexible, Wearable Thermoelectric Generators
Thermoelectric generator (TEG) is an energy harvesting method that converts waste heat into useful electrical energy by utilizing the temperature difference between the two sides of the device. We have developed a new type of hybrid nanomaterial thin film that incorporated into the TEG device to improve its efficiency.
Some advantages include:
Eliminates the need for a heat sink Can also absorb light and convert it into electricity.
Significantly improves the power output when integrated with a TEG
Makes flexible, wearable TEG possible.
