Dr. Dave Norris

Dr. Norris is the Chief Innovation Office at Louisiana Tech University. He leads the university’s Innovation and Economic Development mission. He oversees the University’s two technology business incubators, the Enterprise Campus Research Park, the I6 Proof of Concept Center, the I-20 Regional Business Accelerator, the Creative Product Development Initiative, and he coordinates the Enterprise Center’s network of support services, business partners, investors, and mentors. He works in all aspects of the University’s technology commercialization, business development, and community partnership activities. He has served on several statewide boards including the Louisiana Business Incubator Association, the LONI Economic Development Advisory Board, and the Louisiana Occupational Forecasting Conference. He is currently the President of the Board of the Greater Ouachita Coalition for AIDS Resources and Education. He was the Independent Economist for the State of Louisiana from 2002 to 2005 charged with evaluating all of the state’s economic development programs and incentives. Dr. Norris was previously on the Economics faculty at Northeastern University in Boston (2000-2002) and served in the Office of the Chief Economist at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (1998-2000). He received his undergraduate degree from Louisiana Tech University and his master’s and Ph.D in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin.

Debbie Inman is most happy when encouraging folks to use their talents and skills in entrepreneurial ways. She joined the Center for Entrepreneurship and Information Technology (CEnIT) at Louisiana Tech University in 2002. Debbie completed an MBA from Louisiana Tech following careers in real estate management, personnel placement, and self-employment. Debbie is the Director of CEnIT, the TOP DAWG Idea Pitch and the TOP DAWG New Venture Championship. She develops and coordinates entrepreneurial courses and programs, teaches entrepreneurship classes and is a faculty advisor for entrepreneurship majors and for Bulldog Entrepreneurs. Mrs. Inman also coaches I 20 Corridor Regional Accelerator participants. At home Debbie spends time with family (especially granddaughter, Mollie). When she is at the camp you will find her standup paddle boarding.
Creative Development Director
Kyle is a graduate of both Louisiana Tech and LSU’s Engineering programs. After graduation, he worked at the EA Innovation lab in Orlando, FL, a think tank for emerging tech and new intellectual property (and he loved it!). He has a penchant for the muppets and ultimate frisbee, and is completing a doctoral degree at Tech. He and his lovely wife Sarah aspire to one day attend a cat circus.
Technology Business Development Center

Kathy Wyatt is Director of the Louisiana Tech University Enterprise Center which houses the Technology Business Development Center, The Regional Business Accelerator, and the Louisiana Tech Technology Incubator. The Enterprise Center provides information and referral assistance, management consulting, and educational opportunities for business innovators along the 1-20 corridor in north Louisiana. In addition to working with state and local economic development agencies to support business development and growth in north Louisiana, Wyatt helps entrepreneurs conduct market analysis, prepare financial projections, develop business plans, create investor presentations, access state incentives, and secure funding. She is certified as a Lean LaunchPad Educator by NCIIA and as a FastTrac program facilitator and administrator by the Kauffman Foundation. While attending college, Wyatt owned a business that provided employment for up to 5 part-time workers. Prior to joining Louisiana Tech University, Kathy was Community Development Director for the City of West Monroe, Louisiana. She worked at the Northeast Louisiana University Small Business Development Center during and immediately following her college studies. Wyatt received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration from Northeast Louisiana University.
Tenant Services and Buildings Coordinator/Gallery Director

Hannah Bustamante is the Coordinator for all the tenant buildings within the Innovation Enterprise Campus, which include Tech Pointe, Rawle and Humana Enterprise Centers. She handles all facets of property management with as much Disney magic and enthusiasm as she can muster. Bustamante is also the Director of the Enterprise Center Gallery where she organizes art exhibitions throughout the year featuring works of art from Tech faculty and students, as well as, leads ACDC, an art outreach program with selected fifth graders from several Lincoln Parish schools. While not tending to tenants or coordinating art events, Hannah can be found keeping bees, welding and fabricating metal sculptures, trekking through the woods, or encouraging her cat in her pursuit to become the next viral internet sensation.
